Some time ago, we were running into an extraordinary amount of spam registrations, spam posts etc. and we decided to make the forums "read only" at that time. It is an absolute shame, as the participation was increasing from genuine and passionate fans of the 1940s, and this web site.

If we get enough folks interested in opening the forums back up.. we'll try it again, taking a different approach.
