You know, if we had these prices now, we could afford things just fine!Smile  Here were some things I found: (These prices were from 1940)

A gallon of gas was .11

Mens suits were priced from $24.50 (You couldn't even get the material for that now a days!)

How about a stylish new car – like the Ford Super Deluxe Sedan Coupe for a mere $1395.00
