I can remember when my Mother and I would go to town. We would walk down to the main road and catch the bus to town to do whatever we needed to do. We also would take a wagon or ride a horse or a mule to town. Of course there were cars but not many people had them in our area but hitching a ride was easy since we knew almost everyone around our area. We would also take the train if we were traveling a long way. I wish they were still available to us today.
