OfflineOne of the biggest things I think of during this time are the stories my Father would tell. Growing up in the Depression era, then going off to fight in the war. He had lost some brothers and sisters to diseases that prevailed at the time. Can you imagine the introduction of Penicillin, and how helpful that was during the war effort? There were advancements in radio technology and Mt. Rushmore was completed. What contributions do you think of from the 1940's era?
