OfflineI recall getting a whiff of Lily of the Valley long ago…it was my grandmother's and my mother's favorite for a long time, after which they used White Shoulders, another light, lovely floral. Ah, those fragrances do bring back memories, don't they? I think fragrances must have been more soft and feminine (floral) then. What about Joy de Jean Patou? Another intensely floral scent popular in the '30's and '40's, though quite expensive. I would have enjoyed the perfume counters of the '40's…mmmm…I can imagine all of those lovely florals and softer scents!
